school, Blossomed into a College. today in one of the best institutes imparting education. Various disciplines offered such as B.Sc. (Nursing) Basic, B.Sc. (Nursing) Post Basic, G,N.M. & A.N.M. All jobs oriented courses are for the young girls are provide by the UINJF Society, Garhshankar. Nursing is a rewarding profession having a wide scope of employment in lndia as well as Abroad. I am also pleased to inform the students seeking admission at University Institute of Nursing , Panam, Garhshankar that the Punjab has approved this college for ANM, GNM, B.Sc (N) Basic & Post Basic. The PN RC & INC have also accorded their recognition to this College. The College is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Faridkot. University Institute of Nursing provides quality education in nursing with the purpose of promoting specialized education, research & training. The college labs are well equipped. The College takes various initiatives from time to time for the awareness against AIDS, Drug abuse, fetid & other health problems prevalent in the Society. No wonder University Institute of Nursing is the first choice of the students. Our students continue to get large number of University merit positions year after year. The College provides green environmental & the over all facilities. I wish the College & the students all success in the future.

This old saying has proved to a reality, the strength of the students, the united initiative and the morale of the staff and the students and the drive of the director and seasoned advice and the guidance of the president, all served as bricks stones and mortar to build up the great institution a shining miner in the field of Nursing Education in the state. the initial tirals are over and the new goals are being set and achieved.

Each one of us is set to achieve new targets and do whatever can be done for the welfare of the students, community and the profession. My Sincere advice to the new students is that they should always give first priority to the college, second priority to study and profession and the third priority to their own welfare. always remember.

Height achieved by great men were not attained in a single flight. But they, when their companions slept, were
towering upward in the sky.

The University Institute of Nursing have established new records & achieved new heights in the field of Nursing Education in the 5tate ever since it establishment in 2OO7. lt is moving ahead to achieve new goals & establish new targets.

The University Institute of Nursing students, over the years, kept the flag flying in examinations and in extra curricular activities. All those who passed over in the previous years got good placements in leading Hospitals in the country and some of them are well settled in the profession in the foreign countries, like USA, UK,Canada, Australia and New-Zealand, We wish to achieve new heights in the coming years.

It is indeed the great pleasure and lifelong achievements for me to associate myself with University Institute of Nursing as its Principal. The University Institute of Nursing was established 2007 and from 2009 it was raised to the status of a nursing College with the introduction of B.Sc. (N) Basic and B.Sc. (N) Post Basic classes. The College is running four courses,W.e.f. 2009 i.e. ANM, GNM, B.Sc (N) Basic and B.Sc (N) Post Basic. The College is located in a ultra modern and magnificent building in an ECO- Friendly campus on Chandigarh Road, Panam, Garhshank.

The College has well qualified and experience staff. The College has well equipped Laboratories having all the sophisticated models and all relevant articles, related to Nursing Education. lt has a spacious and well stocked library and well equipped AV Room.

I extend my best wishes for the ongoing
progress and development of the College.
